Presentation will highlight Verance’s efforts with ADB2 & Watermarking
Czech Republic, Prague, November 7, 2022 – Verance’s SVP, Sales & Marketing, Jason Patton, will be presenting in a panel on Targeted Advertising at this week’s Hybrid Broadcast over Broadband TV (HbbTV) Symposium and Award Show. The presentation will focus on Application Discovery Over Broadband Phase 2 (ADB2) & Watermarking Use Cases Coming to Market. The panel will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the National House of Vinohrady in Prague. This will be Verance’s fifth consecutive conference participating at the HbbTV Symposium after having won the award for Best Technology Innovation in a Product or Service last year.
Jason’s presentation will go into detail on the Verance Aspect Watermark and the benefits of using watermarking in correspondence with ADB2 to solve current distribution issues of HbbTV. In addition to this, using watermarking can increase the reach of HbbTV Services by making it available to viewers receiving television service via cable, satellite and over-the-top distribution paths. In some European countries these viewers make up over 50%, 70%, and 90% of the market.
