The Verance Copy Management System (VCMS) provides multifaceted, cross-platform digital content protection for film, video, and music content VCMS has been deployed globally and have become the industry standard digital watermark for copyright protection of premium entertainment and a vital component of Blu-ray, DVD-Audio, and SD-Audio formats.

The VCMS family of products includes two distinct technologies: VCMS/A for music applications and VCMS/AV for filmed entertainment content. For both VCMS/A and VCMS/AV, embedding products are used by content owners and professional service providers (such as production, authoring, distribution and duplication services) to embed VCMS watermarks in content prior to delivery to consumers. Detector products are used by computer software, consumer electronic, and component manufacturers to incorporate support for the VCMS technologies within their products.
